Tim Cojocnean provided me excellent services. I called in cold off the street to have him help me with a labor issue. He took my call immediately and promised to turn the review the next working day. Further, after providing me some great advice he didn’t even charge me for his time. I want everyone to know about my great experience.

Timothy is a terrific lawyer and an even better person; very professional and cordial, he took the time to learn my situation and empathize with me in a way that made me feel like he was truly listening and cared about what I was going through. His fees are fair for the service I received, and I’m glad I went to someone I can have a 1:1 interaction with rather than going to a large firm where I’d be passed off onto someone and not be able to have access to my lawyer. Timothy even provided me with his personal cell phone number in case I had any questions or thoughts on my case; something no other lawyers would do.

It is hard to find people to prioritize their customers. Tim Cojocnean took a cold call from me last Friday. I needed his help on a legal issue. Despite the fact I probably had limited potential for generating significant revenue, he took my call and allowed me to give him some background and explain the issue. He the promised to look at the materials by Monday (next business day). He followed up and called me as promised and provided me great advice. Lastly, he didn’t even charge me for his time. He was more concerned about generating a new customer and goodwill. Just wanted to share my experience to all !!!

Had a wonderful experience with this firm! Very fair, honest, helpful and efficient! Tim was wonderful to work with, he took his time to answer all our questions without charging for every minute lol. They really showed they care and are about client satisfaction and support! I spoke with the office manager Kevin and he was extremely helpful and personable! I had been scouring the interent to find answers to a few of my questions and felt confused by all of the varying responses from forums and articles online. I run a small California-based nonprofit. We’re a statewide organization, that has always worked with contractors on a limited basis so that we can provide services in each of the 58 counties. A recent law change and subsequent EDD ruling led us to believe that we may need to reclassify our contractors (who actually prefer to be contractors) as employees, which threatens both our business model and our viability. The timing of the EDD ruling was bad, as it appeared to disqualify us from the SBA loans that could help us survive the shelter-in-place shutdown (which has also caused our private contributions to drop to $0 for the time being). I called Orange County Employment Law Firm, hoping to take advantage of a free (brief) consultation to gain an understanding of the changes we needed to implement to be in compliance with the new law. Dr. Davis (the attorney I spoke with) went above and beyond with his time to explain our situation to me. He advised that the EDD ruling was likely incorrect, that we should challenge it, and the next steps of how to proceed with the challenge. This may seem like a routine exchange between a business and a law firm – and, indeed, in normal times it would be. But these are not normal times! Like all businesses, we are trying to figure out how to survive during shelter-in-place and the resulting recession. Losing our ability to apply for an SBA loan while simultaneously having our fringe costs skyrocket threatened to put us out of business, and Dr. Davis generously spent his own time (while I am sure he is facing his own challenges) to help guide us through this challenge. For that, and for the good advice, we are extremely grateful. We will obviously bring all of our legal business to Orange County Employment Firm in the future as budgets allow, and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I called to ask a question about a previous case that was already settled with another law firm and Tim and Kevin were so helpful! They listened, gave me advice, and even gave me a phone number of who I needed to call next. I would definitely hire them if I needed an Employment Attorney as they seem to be upfront and honest unlike many other attorney’s in the area.

Tim was very professional and kind when we spoke. He heard me out without interrupting. Although he wasn’t able to help me in my situation he did provide suggestions on how to handle things moving forward. I called Orange County Employment Law Firm because I had some questions about my business, not necessarily because I was ready to bring a lawsuit. I spoke with Tim Cojocnean and he explained to me that his firm exclusively represents employees in suits against their employers. Even so, he was still willing to talk to me about the issues that I was experiencing and pointed me in the right direction. He was very knowledgeable about employment and very polite over the phone. If I needed to sue my employer, I would definitely call him back.

A great firm! The trustworthy attorney I spoke with was a breath of fresh air. This is not always the case with law firms. However, this firm was very helpful and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is having troubles at work like I had.

I had an issue with my employer so I went on Yelp and looked for an employment law firm. It was Saturday morning and I did not expect to hear from anyone until Monday. It was a great surprise to get a call back a couple of hours later! I spoke with Timothy Cojocnean who listened to my situation and then gave me some great advice. Rather than try to sign me up then and there, he suggested how I should work it on my own. And if that didn’t work out, he said that he’d be happy to take my case. My issue has not yet been resolved by my employer but I am giving them a week to do so. If they do not, I’ll be reaching out to Timothy again. It’s nice to find an attorney who is willing to give advice rather than try to sign you on right away.

I called this firm because I was experiencing issues at work and I just wanted to know what my options were, not necessarily because I was ready to bring a lawsuit.
